Ehiorobo - Original Composition for Film & Animation Soundtracks [Portfolio]

Ehi Igiehon (Ehiorobo) graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in music production. Making early headway on an artist’s career path mid-way through college having already released tracks that had garnered millions of streams, gone on nation-wide tours as both a headlining and supporting act, and performed at various music festivals (SXSW, Norman Music Festival, Lost Coast Fest, MAGfest) across the country and etc., he prioritized producing and expanding his original discography which has since clocked in at over 30,000,000 streams across platforms as of early 2022.

In the space of screen composition, Ehiorobo’s approach to soundtracking gives way to scores that are uniquely intriguing, fun, and highly emotive. These attributes are largely credited to his knack for maneuvering around harmony using several different instruments, and creating the one-of-a-kind sound palettes that are present throughout his artistic discography which crosses a wide variety of genres; electronic, jazz, hip hop, alternative rock, ambient, orchestral, afrobeat / dance, and more. In terms of process, Ehiorobo uses a fusion of acoustic instrumentation and digital production techniques. Between 2015 - 2020, Ehi has either completed or contributed original composition to various soundtracks for a handful of indie games that have either postponed release (ie: Burrito Galaxy 64), or discontinued production .

His sound is most often suitable for and specialized towards whimsical, imaginative, and emotionally potent stories for children and young adults (ie: action-adventure, fantasy, romantic comedy, and more).
